Mercede-Benz have unveiled the latest generation of their largest SUV, the GL-Class. The three-row vehicle has been improved with a slightly larger interior, crisper lines, a taller hood and a more prominent grill. It’s also more luxurious, with an interior closely resembling the new M-Class with plenty of silver chrome, wood and leather. There are three different engines on offer: a 429 hp twin-turbo 4.7-liter V8, a detuned version at 362 horsepower and a BlueTE 3.5-liter diesel V6 with 240 hp. All three engines pair with a seven-speed automatic transmission and send power to all four wheels through a standard 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system with AIRMATIC suspension, allowing for 12″ of clearance for superior off-road driving.
Look for the new GL-Class in showrooms this September.
