Burberry opened the doors on their newest flagship location in Taipei, Taiwan this evening which also helped launch the brands new Burberry World platform: a way their online community to connect closer with the brand. One thing Burberry is clearly ahead of the curve over most fashion houses is in engaging the social side of online. As Christopher Bailey mentioned, “It was incredibly exciting to be able to tell our story of British heritage, weather, music and fashion in this way for the first time against the vibrant backdrop of Taipei – we can’t wait to evolve Burberry World Live further as it tours cities around the globe later this year.” Burberry World platform blurs the lines between the online and physical Burberry experiences; much of the interaction happening over on the Burberry Facebook page.
