Dream Downtown Hotel

Recently opened in the meatpacking district of New York is the Dream Downtown Hotel. Designed by American firm Handel Architects, the hotel’s front bears massive porthole windows give an uncanny resemblance to children’s game Connect Four. The round holes have been drilled into the wall surface of the circular window frame, giving a futuristic look to the building. Inside the hotel are two restaurants, shops and event space can be found, plus facilities such as gym and a swimming pool is provided. Circles make occurring presence, possibly as part of the hotel’s theme.
