This watch from Benjamin Hubery is zomething a little different. Why the zomething? Because this piece reminds us of our beloved, long-lost malt beverage, Zima. On the surface, this makes sense as Zima had that distinctive ridged bottle and this watch has a nice ridged band designed to reduce perspiration. The three-dimensional face also has some pretty hot ridges and a second hand that is double-long.

Perhaps the Zima comparisons should end there, but there is also a vaguely Swatch-like aura to the rubberized crispness here and we probably handed a Zima or two to a girl in a Swatch back in the day. Back to reality, though, this is a distinctive piece that serves as a nice foil to heavy, metal watches with mad dials and meters … or zomething.
