Superheroes in Old War Photos

Had there been superheroes in the past, would the outcome of important history events been different? Revolutions, World Wars and nations threatening each other with nuclear power could have been prevented had there been a superhero present. It’s just food for thought.

Photographer Agan Harahap from Indonesia has seamlessly worked the pop culture icons into vintage photos of historic figures. There’s Heinrich Himmler getting a lecture from Captain America, Superman protecting art treasures from looters and Batman looking over the shoulder of Fidel Castro. Superheroes can’t be present, unless super villains are around, so of course Darth Vader hangs out at the meeting of Yalta with Stalin while the Joker makes an appearance elsewhere.

Have a look at all the photos after the jump to see where other superheroes and villains crop up.
