The latest in their series of Only One watches, the Air Huey from Meccaniche Veloci is made from the airframe of an actual Huey helicopter—a fleet of birds thought to have saved thousands of lives in the Vietnam War during routine medical evacuations from the battlefield.

Other pieces in the collection have been made from the fiberglass fairing from a racing motorcycle and the magnesium flap from a supersonic fighter jet. It all seems a tad gimmicky, but then again, this watch in particular represents a piece of very intense history.
