Famous Braniff International Airways operated from 1930 until 1982, and to celebrate the American airline’s achievements, this collaboration’s being struck with Converse. Both Converse’s coveted models, the All Star and the Jack Purcell get colors reminiscent of Braniff and the airline’s branding as their full title and motif feature on both sides of the shoes. The shoes give a nod to Braniff’s mid-century design. Overall, the results are pretty solid with contrasting stripes down the heel. Expect these to be out in July from Converse in Japan.
