Where the runway meets the street

We have grown accustomed to looking to French brand Hixsept for garments that are a little bit fanciful and a little bit interesting. These soft tees hit squarely in both caps. A collaborative effort between the brand and some artists (founders Aurelien Arbet and Jeremie Egry worked on one together, and Charles Negre and Ann Woo did separately) these feature three very different prints.

The ladder giraffe (Negre) has some nice dry absurdist humor working for it—t-shirts often being comfortable homes for that type of stuff. Also featured is a print of some paint-splattered painting tools and another of a bouquet of vibrant orange flowers. Pretty damn charming, and it looks like there might be another one out in the world bearing a donkey (a must for fans of Bresson’s Balthazar). Por Vocação has them.

Two more tees after the jump…
