Where the runway meets the street

The look and feel of Apple products have gone well beyond setting the tone for technology over the last decade, they have changed the way we communicate with blah, blah, blah. Most of us have the Apple logo tattooed on our souls at this point, and a great many of us embrace that allegiance with abandon.

Nice, then, to see some Apple products that didn’t hit squarely on the nerve ending of zeitgeist desires. That’s certainly looks to be the case with these recently unearthed pics from a 1986 Apple clothing catalog. Totally radical in all the wrong ways—even by ’80s standards. (taxi)
