We have to admit, that since we are in the fashion game, we never really paid much attention to Italian fashion house Valentino. While we do understand the legacy and vast history of the brand, it was never relevant to our demographic. Well, that seems to be changing, when looking at the last couple of collections.
This week, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli presented the new Valentino Spring/Summer 2013 mens collection at Pitti Uomo. Camouflage played an important role in the new collection, fully on trend with the general importance (some may say, drastic overuse) of the military pattern. All in all they presented a refreshing, young and modern side of the iconic brand, which we certainly want to see more. The color blocking details are also among the stand-out details of the new line, which you will be seeing in stores early next year.
