The Thom Browne show that took place yesterday at the Maison de la Chimie in Paris, was again the highlight for us during this season’s Paris Fashion Week. The New York designer had models dropped in silver paint, walk the gardens of the location. But of course they did not just walk.
The show started with 4 fantasy characters entering the garden, wandering around, until eventually models covered in silver tubes positioned themselves accurately on dipped silver shoes in the middle of the garden. Once all models where standing, they dropped the tubes all at the same time and the collection was unveiled. Wow!
All in all the collection was very colorful, using striking patterns, including the scorpion and the wale animals. Crazy multi color check patterns were layered one on top of each other and the resulting look was as usual very Thom Browne and very interesting.
