Staple Design Presents The Kidrobot Black Apparel Collection

Kidrobot and Staple Design have partnered up to launch the first Kidrobot Black apparel collection. Complementing the high-end, super-limited edition Kidrobot Black toy series, the four-piece collection is modular and designed to be worn all at once.

Consisting of an outerwear shell, a base layer zip hood, a button-down shirt and a bag, the collection plays with the idea that in design language, a true black is made up of specific percentages of cyan, magenta, yellow and black. Thus each piece pulls a certain CMYK signifier and, when all together, shows the CMYK spectrum in subtle details.

Each apparel piece is technically functional for the outdoors with water and windproofing and is made in Japan by the best manufacturers. The oversized hip bag was created it in association with the bag experts at Lexdray. There is also a line of T-shirts and hats that accompany the cut-and-sew pieces.

Available at Kidrobot stores and select retailers worldwide for Holiday 2012.
