The Bambi Chair by Hisakazu Shimizu, co-founder of Tokyo-based S&O design, has curves that speak more to an exotic dancer than an orphaned deer. Still, the Disney yearling serves as the muse for the thing—with the animal’s little legs given a somewhat literal nod in the chair’s spindly set of four. All of the inspiration is secondary to the simple fact that the thing looks comfy, clean and courting. Sit down.
