After 150 years in ruin, the Church of Saint Francis Convent in the Catalonias town of Santpedor has been converted into a new, architecturally proper auditorium by David Closes. The exterior of the convent remains as it has for one and half centuries. “The external staircases wind up from the entrance through the walls of the building… Two mezzanine floors are located in the wings of the church and will later become a historical archive.” Stunning work.
