Here is an interesting new collaboration coming from Timberland. The boot make has teamed up with Nadège Winter and the TRAID charity organization from the UK. TRAID collects the UK public’s unwanted clothes for reuse and resale in their charity shops. That is exactly where Nadège Winter and Timberland come in. Formerly at colette, Winter now heads her own creative agency out of Paris.
The two had the fantastic idea to use the old fabrics, that were collected by TRAID, and to apply them to the classic Timberland 6 Inch Premium Boots. The outcome is a great range of colorful fabric infused boots. Limited to only 1200 pairs globally, the one-of-a-kind boots will be released August 2012 at select retailers.
