The race between Canon and Nikon on the DSLR market has always been an interesting one. This week Nikon sends a new contender into the race, their all new full frame D600 camera.

The camera comes with a 24MP full-frame sensor and with features that remind of the popular D7000. Here is a list of the main features of the camera:

– Nikon’ most compact FX-format HD-SLR
– Newly developed 24.3 MP FX-format CMOS sensor
– Share D600 images with the optional WU-1b Wireless Mobile Adapter (sold seperately)
– Cinema-quality Full HD (1080p)
– Compatible with all NIKKOR lenses, FX and DX formats

Priced at 2’100 USD for the body and 2’700 USD including the 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5G ED VR AF-S Nikkor Lens, pricing is not too bad actually.
