Diptyque of Paris go all out for this latest store opening. The historic Leadenhall Market dates back to the 14th century and received a complete overhaul in the 1990s, now a rather grandiose looking structure housing Mum-gift small shops. In keeping with the fancy surrounds, designer Christopher Jenner mixes a variety of styles and periods to create this rather impressive store fit. Library cabinets, brass panels, ornate gothic revival wall coverings, stained glass and a huge modern light fitting come together in a mix of ostentatious Catholic church and Orient Express. Gift shopping at its finest.
