M House by ONG&ONG

Designed by ONG&ONG and built in Singapore, the M House is a nice example of an open architecture without compromising to the need of occasional privacy. The building features various bedrooms in the upper floor, which are connected to a spacious communal area on the ground floor through a recess in the ceiling. Opting for concrete, teak and terrazo the M House is heavily influenced by classic modernist style. The simple architectural elements are specially aligned in way that ensures an effective cross-ventilation in a tropical climate. An edgeless pool encircling the building provides a zen-like feel.

Have a look at the gallery above for some detailed shots of the house.
