Six Degrees for Sebago Collection Curated by Mdot

Six degrees of separation is the idea that everyone is connected to everyone else by an average of six steps. With this in mind, designer Mdot has teamed up with Sebago to assemble a team of bloggers and creative types to create a set of footwear.

The Six Degrees collective includes one brand and five ladies from around the globe, who represent some of the world’s most dynamic cities: San Francisco, New York, Paris and Berlin. They are: Mdot of booji, Hana May of hearty magazine, Sandrine Sandrinette of What’s up Kids/coletteteamtumblr, and Mayra Fateh and Michal Tesler of eVe Without Adam.

To make this project extra special, Berlin-based artist Conradi Atelier created illustrations of the Six Degrees shoes. Not only will these illustrations be on display in the windows of Reed Space, but they have also been turned into a special collection of postcards that will be available for purchase.

The official launch is scheduled for Thurs 10/04 at Reed Space NY.
