Back to Stutterheim raincoats – ‘Swedish melancholy at its driest’. It’s been a while but the Swedish label returns with a new model. The Stockholm follows on from the popular Arholma – a design inspired by rainwear worn by founder Alexander Stutterheim’s Grandad. Described as it’s ‘rawer’ brother, the new model is double welded and pleasingly simple, drawstring, front snaps, no separate lining – the pared down variation has created a more affordable option made by the same skillful seamstresses who create the rest of the line. Available in six colours from the webshop, London folk will get a closer look when the Stutterheim Pop-Up shop arrives in November. Details soon.
