Long time defunct company Ermini seems to be back in business. The italian automaker is planning to launch a new creation, which will be dubbed seiottosei, or 686, at the end of next year. With the new Barchetta Ermini stays true to its roots and provides a sportscar which is both rear-engined and wheeled and aims primarily at a vigorous driving experience resulting from a light frame and tight handling. The Florence based company engaged Giulio Cappellini as head of the design team. Capellini enjoys an excellent reputation as a highly skilled expert, though he never worked in automotive design before. He was chosen to design the car based solely on beauty as inspiration. Looks like it worked out just fine.
