Glen House by SAOTA And Three 14 Architects

Actually rebuilt from an already existing building the Glen house located in Cape Town, designed by Saota and Three 14 Architects is a nice example of contemporary architecture designed around the need of its inhabitants. Providing a sense of openness without compromising to privacy the building the rooms are lit by large windows and the livingrooms have large openings of sliding aluminium doors. To further enhance this feeling, the interior design mainly relies on clutter free and clean spaces, which feature glass railings, painted bagged brickwork, specialized polished concrete topping and oak cabinetry and ceilings. Have a look at it in the gallery above.
