The Weekly Outfit: Scottish Highlands

We just recently came across acclaimed British director Ken Loach’s excellent film The Angels’ Share. Known for focusing very much on rather sad and tragic stories that evolve around social issues, Loach tell’s the story of a group of 5 friends, who were sentenced to community work and after visiting a whiskey distillery, go on a quest to steal a priceless cask of whiskey known as the Angels’ Share. Inspired by the movie and the rough scottish landscape, we searched our favourite online store and picked some great pieces by our favourite british brands. Take a look at it after the jump.

Nigel Cabourn – Turtle Neck Wool Sweater

British designer Nigel Cabourn gets never tired digging through archives eventually bringing back classic pieces like this turtleneck sweater. Made of pure virgin wool, It is inspired by a sweater worn by mountaineer Tom Bourdillon, who was among the first people who reached the summit of Mt. Everest in 1953. Get it at Manufactum.
