The Winged House in Singapore by K2LD Architects

The Singaporean company K2LD Architects designed the ‘The Winged House’. This private residence is split into 2 adjacent forms to navigate its triangulated plot. Open towards the back of the site the house welcomes the lush vegetation and tropical climate of Singapore into the living spaces. Inspired by traditional malay architecture, the folding canopies bring fresh air though the interior. A double height dining room, a corridor on the upper level and patio welcome daylight to fill the spaces with natural lighting.

Take a look at the pictures of the tropical mansion in the gallery above.
