Levi’s has been known to produce durable quality products and challenge the concept of good design in fashion since its origin in 1853. Their Made & Crafted collection takes a similar approach. Besides the usual emphasis of its denim fabric, Made & Crafted explores the new uses of other materials such as knits and wools in their seasonal collection.

This iPad/tablet case once again takes on the spirit of Levi’s with its use of vegetable tanned leather and clean, almost no-frills design. Stripped down to the bare minimum, the case is all about functionality as seen in the use of a single leather flap as a closure instead of usual add-ons like buttons, velcros or zips. The only aesthetic design would be the inspirational influence of native American patterns on the front flap; a pattern used throughout their Fall/Winter 2012 collection.
