Nike SB has recently teamed up with Made For Skate for their anniversary exhibition 10 Years of Nike SB – Delivered from the Future in a Cardboard Box, celebrating the iconic shoes, the constant innovative design approach, as well as the artists and riders that shaped the brands unique history. Held at Nike Sixth and Mill skate park in downtown Los Angeles, the event saw its opening reception last saturday featuring The Blackouts (Atiba and Ako Jefferson), who provided a solid set of tunes for the evening. In the course of the opening we had the opportunity to talk to Jürgen Blümlein, co-Author of the Made For Skate book and curator of Berlin Skateboard Museum, who shares his thoughts on Nike’s ongoing collaborative sneaker projects in the above video. The exhibition will be on display until early next year.
