Highsnobiety Photo Editorial: Highlights from the 2012 LA Auto Show

We already reported earlier this week from our visit in Los Angeles, where Mercedes-Benz officially unveiled their new Smart forjeremy collaboration with fashion designer Jeremy Scott and also their impressive Ener-G Force Concept Car.

Of course we also used the occasion to visit the LA Auto Show and check out what other car makers has to show. While the event itself is rather small, at least compared to the car shows in Geneva and Frankfurt, we still came across some great new cars that we had not seen live before.

Mercedes also showed the recently introduced SLS AMG Black Series. BMW had the i3 Concept Coupe and the beautiful i8 Concept Spyder on display. German sportscar maker Porsche introduced the all new Cayman. Next to the XFR-S, Jaguar and Land Rover had a series of other interesting vehicles on display. The new Range Rover got us most excited, looking both more elegant and more sporty at the same time.

Other interesting cars could be seen at Bentley, Audi showed off their latest S8, Lexus their new LF-LC hybrid sportscar and Acura the NSX Concept.

If you are in LA these days, take 1-2 hours to walk through the show, its well worth it. See a photo gallery of our impressions here above.
