Speedshop Type One by Torafu Architects

Not your usual body shop: The Speedshop Type One designed by Torafu Architect surprises with a sleek and minimalistic interior. Free of all superfluous nick-nacks with a focus on servicing functionality, the working space is stripped to its bare essentials. In the course of re-designing the shop, elements originally present, such as the aluminum canopy hanging from the top lights, push carts and the rough-feeling cemented excelsior board walls have been fully integrated into the new concept. In order to highlight the cars on display, the shop is tinted largely in desaturated colours. Click through the gallery for some more pictures.
