Where the runway meets the street

Japanese denim brand Studio D’Artisan try their hand at ‘luxury tailoring’ with sub-brand Orgueil. A word which translates as a combination of vanity and pride, the line is inspired by early 20th century European tailoring with a little American workwear thrown in for good measure. An interesting piece, this Herringbone Sackcoat features a curved hem, mismatch buttons, half belt and a lovely cotton lining. Head over to Tate + Yoko, the label’s only non-Japanese retailer, for more.
