David Lynch is Said to Have Met With NBC to Discuss Reviving ‘Twin Peaks’

For years, filmmakers David Lynch and Mark Frost have discussed the possibility of reviving Twin Peaks, the television serial drama which aired on ABC from 1990-1991. Frost has even been quoted as saying, “[Twin Peaks is] something we talk about from time to time…If we ever do decide to move forward, I know we have a rich trove to draw from.”

David Lynch hasn’t announced his next film project as of yet, but he’s been very involved with TV for the past year or two, including his memorable guest appearance on Louie and a recurring role on The Cleveland Show as Gus the Bartender. Also, Twin Peaks was recently added to Hulu, which was partially developed by NBCUniversal Television Group, the same day as Lynch’s “supposed” meeting with NBC.

The rumor began when this hit the net, have a look for yourself and let us know what you think.
