British label YMC has presented its collection for forthcoming Fall/Winter season at London Fashion. For their latest work creative directors Fraser Moss and Jimmy Collins have been travelling back to the 1990s, to the time of the labels inception. Intended to capture the spirit of post-punk, the collection however sees a range of staples which don’t seem to live up to their source of inspiration. We see boxy-cut suits, an eclectic palette of colours and patterns, and lots and lots of berets, resulting in an overall impression of utter randomness, instead of 1990s post-punk.
