Most retailer’s usually tend go with the big names when it comes to collaborations, as it leads almost always to top selling and above all prestigious products. Though I’m pretty sure they are definitely able to score a better deal, Amsterdam’s Patta, however, prefer to stray in rather obscure areas, which eventually landed them a 3 year contract with KangaROOS back in 2011. Of course we were quite sceptical about the outcome. I remember wearing KangaROOS around early grade school, until I got kind of quickly peer-pressured into wearing more fashionable sneaks. Despite rather fond childhood memories, I have never really paid much attention to the kangaroo anymore. The past collab collections, however, have clearly shown that KangaROOS is not dead – it just smells funny. The latest silhouette is once again a winter fit boot, that was first revived 2 years ago. The boot comes with a Cordura nylon upper, premium nubuck leather and contrasting green laces. Check out the detailed pictures in the gallery.
