“No Noise” – De-Branded Design at Selfridges

Reacting on the sensory overload, caused by a myriads of advertisements faced day by day, London department store Selfridges started the No Noise campaign. This initiative is backed by a number of companies, which have produced stripped down limited edition versions of their products, free of any type and logos. However, reduced to only colours and shapes, the companies’ corporate designs are still easily recognizable, only proving their visual omnipresence in our daily lifes. Products include Heinz Tomato Ketchup and Baked Beans, Marmite, Crème de la Mer moisturiser, Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion and Levi’s 501 Jeans.
