Ludwig Van x Gourmet “Utility Project” Footwear

This Fall sees California label Ludwig linking up with Gourmet to craft a collaborative footwear pack utilizing deadstock military fabrics. Entitled the “Utility Project” the series consists of 3 different pairs of shoes using various fabrics.

The DDR Project is a midtop featuring original dead stock “Raindrop Camouflage” from the 1960s German Military, while the “KILGORE Project” features two low tops in original U.S. Army Twill (circa 1971) as well as vintage Walls Outdoor Duck Canvas and “Mitchell Pattern Camouflage” on the tongue. Look for these in the coming months.
