Continuing their work with designer Neil Barrett, Zaha Hadid Architects introduce images from their latest ‘shop in shop’ designs in Seoul & Korea. A series of sculptures create a central focus for an otherwise austere shop floor, each arrangement designed to mirror other pieces in Neil Barrett locations, the original found in the Tokyo flagship. The concept is “based on a singular, cohesive project that is divided into sixteen separate pieces. Each separate element acts as a piece in a puzzle of the original ensemble…the pieces have been carved and moulded from the original solid as pairs that define each other to create an artificial landscape that unfolds multiple layers for display.” Take a look at the finished space in the gallery.
