Carson Street Clothiers, one of SoHo’s newest menswear stores recently opened its doors to the public. We had the opportunity to visit the space beforehand, to survey the layout and get first dibs on the wares. CSC is the brainchild of Brian Trunzo and Matthew Breen who both formerly worked in New York City as large firm attorneys.
CSC boasts the launch of its own eponymous label contiguously with the opening of its retail space. The collection contains domestically produced shirting, trousers, ties, pocket squares and blazers. With a nod to tradition, original patterns were hand-cut by the best in the business.
In addition to the proprietary CSC labeled clothing, Breen and Trunzo assembled a roster of labels ranging from established to emerging labels such as Michael Bastian, Ovadia & Sons, Ian Velardi, Barena Venezia, Patrick Ervell, Mark McNairy, wings + horns, Orlebar Brown, Inis Meáin and Mismo.
The space itself is styled to a tee and worth checking out. Stop by and have a drink. 63 Crosby Street (between Spring and Broome Streets), New York City.
