Since 2011 ABSOLUT has provided a platform for artists from around the world through the campaign “ABSOLUT BLANK.” Traveling from city to city, the program has opened the doors for creativity and created spaces for discussion and interaction.
In the ABSOLUT BLANK Atelier in Munich, Mary Scherpe (Stil in Berlin) met with fashion icon Diane Pernet (A Shaded View On Fashion), blogger Ari Seth Cohen (Advanced Style) and director Lina Plioplyte (Teenage Peanut) for a live talk. The topics discussed were “dare to risk” and “doing more with less,” focused on the importance of courage and how much one needs.
In Berlin, two members of the Danish band Who Made Who, Tomas Høffding and Tomas Barfod, met up with presenter Hadnet Tesfai to talk about challenges, difficulties and success within the creative process. Under the topic “always change a winning team,” the band members openly shared their evolution from starting out as a young disco-inspired band and recording in their parents’ living room to becoming the more serious and internationally successful band they are today.
Accompanying the ABSOLUT BLANK events is a limited edition vodka bottle designed by artist and designer Dave Kinsey.
