More than just a daily visual journal, Instagram serves as a platform that allows anyone and everyone to be a photographer. Simple and effective, the San Francisco-born mobile app, along with its many supporting third party components, is a fun and engaging way of sharing adventures, good eats and plenty of embarrassing moments in between. Since Instagram is a favorite social media platform of ours, we decided to share some of the people we find inspiring in our latest weekly feature, Five Instagram Accounts We’re Enjoying This Week. Feel free to let us know in the comments section on why you feel your account should be featured next week and be sure to follow us at @highsnobiety.
@marcdolce – Brooklyn-born designer Marc Dolce’s Instagram is all about kicks, kicks and more kicks, with some hidden gems sprinkled in between. As Nike’s NSW Design Director, Dolce’s impact has been felt on numerous hyped releases in recent times, including the resurgence of the heralded Foamposite, birth of the hybrid Zoom Rookie and evolution of the timeless Air Force 1.
@juanmphoto – This account was spotlighted in our comments section, so thanks for the continued suggestions! Helmed by Miami-based photographer Juan Maceira, the shutterbug captures all things popping in South Beach.
@tang310 – Our readers strike again with this selection, taking us on a journey through Los Angeles landmarks such as the metro system and always enjoyable Disneyland. Great shots here from Mr. Tang.
@jordanrogers26 – Dallas native Jordan Rogers has a great eye for everything the city has to offer, from sports to architecture, to sneakers. Frequently traveling, the Nike EKIN spends his time working on brand marketing and snapping pics of his many destinations.
@streetetiquette – The New York-based duo of Joshua Kissi and Travis Gumbs, better known as Street Etiquette, provide a great backdrop of their daily adventures in the city, including fashion shows, good eats and plenty of street snaps, along with the occasional shark head shot.
