After having presented the concept vehicle of the collaboration between Smart and fashion designer Jeremy Scott end of last year, the brand uses the Auto Shanghai motor show, which opened its doors today, to present the final production version of the limited edition collaborative car. With its striking wings at the rear, the vehicle retains a central design element of the original show car. Production is scheduled to begin in April 2013. The smart fortwo edition by Jeremy Scott is available as a coupé with either a local emission-free electric drive, BRABUS electric drive, or a powerful BRABUS 75 kW petrol engine.
As with everything that the New York designer touches, some people will love the design and others will hate it. He just always manages to polarize and that is also the case with this limited edition Smart fortwo. With white being the dominant color both inside and outside the car, it seems like a great fit for warmer countries and for the summer.
Look out for a very limited release at Smart dealers soon.
