The JKC2 House designed by ONG&ONG architects is situated in Bukit Timah, Singapore. The house comprises of three sections positioned around a central courtyard that brings each wing of the building together whilst allowing them to act as their own separate entities. A balance is struck between the surrounding nature and the materials used within the home. Raw finished materials such as concrete, stone, mild steel, tropical wood and clear glass create a dialogue that complement the immediate natural environment. The size of the site is made use of by the horizontal sprawl of the building, which is continued through the long, clean lines of the interior.
