Joy Division’s ‘Unknown Pleasures’ Album Artwork Has Finally Been 3D-Printed

Fans can rejoice, Joy Division‘s iconic cover by Peter Saville representing PSR B1919+21 waveforms has finally been brought to life via the wonderful folks of the 3D-printing community. “After watching Grant Gee’s documentary Joy Division, I decided I had to print the iconic cover of their first album Unknown Pleasures in 3D,” explains Michael Zoellner. “Unfortunately I could not find a single vector graphic or 3D model anywhere. I even tried to visualize PSR B1919+21′s waveforms. But in the end I spent an evening tracing the waves by hand while watching ESC.” If you’re interested in printing your own please visit Thingiverse.
