Digital interview magazine The Avant/Garde Diaries presents another short film investigating an uncovered corner of culture. This time, the focus is around two sixth-grade metalheads from Flatbush, Brooklyn who are on a mission to rock. Malcolm Brickhouse and Jarad Dawkins have known each other since they were four and decided to start a band. They explain their songwriting process and discuss their hopes and dreams and their fake tour dates, which include Madison Square Garden, Irving Plaza and Webster Hall, naturally. It’s amazing to see two kids with such an unrelenting passion and talent for something. Watch the video and find out for yourself.
