Polaroid cameras were discontinued at the height of their ironic revival, when people were reveling in a photography result that rebelled against the rise of digital, and looked great, too. The answer to our loss came as a more contemporary version: The Impossible Instant Lab. Using an accompanying app, after selecting the desired photograph you place your phone face down onto the cradle on the top of the device. The app then exposes the image onto the film which is then spat out as if the camera had just taken an ordinary photograph, giving that sought-after hazy, lo-fi Polaroid look. We posted about The Impossible Instant Lab last year, and it is at last available to purchase in three different styles via their Kickstarter page.
