Cerruti 1881 creative director Aldo Maria Camillo presented a particularly autumn like collection for Summer 2014, perhaps he has meteorological info we’re not privy to. Whether or not it was appropriate for warmer temperatures, there were some beautiful pieces in this Paris show. Priest-like white on black collars, long-length coats with a sloping shoulder, loose tailoring and plenty of burgundy, fabrics once again on the heavy side; wool, canvas, silk Mikado and a ‘technical wool’ that will see you right through to Christmas. Better safe than sorry with these indecisive seasons. See the full collection in our gallery.
