For Spring/Summer 2014, the Opening Ceremony men’s collection takes its inspiration from the cultural diversity of Korea. The ready-to-wear collection explores traditional Korean garments and construction techniques such as pojagi, a form of patchwork cloth wrapping, hanbok robes, and geometric color blocking and bordering. The color palette includes vibrant reds, bright cerulean blues, deep navies, metallic silvers, and jade green highlights with optical black and white trims appearing throughout the collection. All in all the New York brand presents a well-balanced modern men’s collection that is unique while also touching heavily on current trends in the market.
Opening Ceremony’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection will be available at select retailers and online beginning in January 2014.
