The Jaguar F-Type Project 7 concept will make a dynamic debut at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 12. This concept vehicle is based on the 2014 Jaguar F-TYPE, an all-new, two-seat convertible sports car and winner of the 2013 “World Car Design of the Year” award. Project 7 is not a static concept, but a fully-functional, high-performance sports car. The F-Type’s all-aluminum architecture provides the perfect starting point, with power supplied by a 550hp supercharged 5-liter Jaguar V8 engine. This power is delivered to the rear wheels through an eight-speed ZF transmission with “Quickshift” technology, and an active electronically controlled limited slip differential. Project 7 also features a free-flow exhaust system with a ceramic finish, 10mm lower ride height and a custom-calibrated spring/damper tune.
