Oris unveiled its new professional diver’s watch – the Aquis Depth Gauge. Besides boasting a rating of 500 meters, it also has a quite nifty looking depth gauge located around the dial’s outer chapter ring. The mechanism allows small amounts of water to enter the watch, thus calculating both pressure and volume, which then activates the depth gauge display showing your exact depth in meters.
The Oris Aquis Depth Gauge features a 46 mm stainless steel case with a ceramic dive bezel. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating, while the case’s back features a handy meters to feet conversion table.
The Aquis Depth Gauge is powered by an Oris Caliber 733 based on Sellita SW-200-1, with a bidirectional red rotor besides 26 jewels and a 38-hour power reserve.
The black dial sees Superluminova BG W9 indices and hands. The strap has a special buckle to clasp, making the watch easy to put on, take off and adjust. The Aquis comes in a waterproof presentation box set with additional rubber strap and changing tool.
