We have always loved the Canon G-Series, and have followed it ever since the G9. A lot has happened since then and today the camera maker has announced the latest successor to the series. The G16 comes with 12.1 megapixels, 60 fps video at HD resolution, a fast f/1.8 lens, and Wi-Fi connectivity which was not included on the last G-series model. All of this is stored inside a slightly bigger and more robust body which allows for a viewfinder. It’s due for release in October of this year at a price point of $550 USD.
