The Weekly Outfit: A Weekend in Copenhagen

After traveling for almost a month now and seeing beautiful locations like Barcelona, Florence and Amsterdam, we move on to our final destination – Copenhagen. The Danish capital rose to prominence in recent years for its sheer number of innovative fashion brands, pretty much superseding Sweden and Stockholm as the unchallenged ruler of the Scandinavian fashion scene. Apart from that, the relatively compact city boasts a high standard of living, a broad range of cultural opportunities, and in general an easygoing attitude. The fact that almost all Danes speak impeccable English makes it quite easy to get in touch with the locals and explore the city’s trendy Vesterbro and Nørrebro neighborhoods  – preferably by bike, wearing our latest Weekly Outfit. See it after the jump.

Mismo – M/S Day Pack

Mismo‘s immaculate creations boast a level of craftsmanship which could easily lead people to assume the company is a storied bagmaker located in the sunny hills of Tuscany. However, the brand was, in fact, launched in 2006 in Denmark by Adam Bach and Rikke Overgaard, and since then they’ve been providing a steady output of high quality bags and accessories that bridge the gap between functionality and minimalism. The bag pictured above is now available at Nitty Gritty.
