Kevin Durant and James Harden host Nike’s “Summer is Serious” Finale

Beginning on July 9, Nike invited players from around the country to prove their skills by posting videos and photos using the hashtag #summerisserious. Thousands submitted for the chance to be drafted by Kevin Durant and James Harden to play in Nike’s summer series events, and out of all the applicants, only an elite 16 earned the right to fly out to New York City and play in a final game coached by the NBA superstars.

The “Tournament of Champions” was hosted in Brooklyn at a rapturous Duggal Greenhouse that was filled to capacity. KD’s “Shirts” squad put up against Hardens “Skins” in an intense battle for the win. As expected, everyone on the court was in the newest Nike Basketball gear from head to toe, including the metallic purple KD IV’s and the new Nike Hyperdunks that glow in the dark. We had the chance to sit court-side and take a few snaps of all the excitement, check out the game in the gallery above.
